OC small-cap funds uphold Lonsec’s highest rating
Lonsec has awarded its highest rating to OC Funds Management’s small-cap funds.
The OC Premium Small Companies and Dynamic Equity Funds have maintained their ‘Highly Recommended’ rating from Lonsec, with the ratings house highlighting the funds “have built strong performance track records” and “are attractively positioned relative to many peers on capacity”.
OC’s Head of Investments, Robert Frost, commented, “We’re obviously pleased with the outcome. We have an experienced and stable team that is highly aligned with our investors, so we are delighted to get a strong validation of our process from Lonsec.”
“Both funds also have ample capacity, so there is opportunity for new investment,” Frost said.
Sam Baillieu from Copia Investment Partners, OC’s parent, also commented, “This is an excellent result for OC. Robert and his team are dedicated smaller companies investors and have proven long-term success in this space.”
According to Lonsec, the funds “represent an appealing combination of a specialist small-cap team led by a highly experienced and motivated portfolio manager applying a tailored company research approach”.
The funds are designed for investors seeking diversified exposure to a quality portfolio of Australian listed small and mid-cap stocks.
